6:30 - 8 PM An Introduction to the concept of the Tango's default vocabulary, for experienced dancers of the local community.
Prepare early for the weekend workshops and then stay and assist Daniel with the Tango from Zero class.

8:00- 9:30 PM "Tango from Zero" Daniel’s Introduction to Tango Dancing for Absolute Beginners is famous for being
delightful and making dancing possible for even the most doubtful beginners. This is a great opportunity to give
people new to Tango there first experience; perfect for your reluctant two left footed friends. No partner needed.
Complete novices welcome. For experienced dancers, a take on how to pleasurably introduce newcomers to tango.

12 Noon - 1:30 PM with Daniel: Lecture 1 with Video and Graphic Images. Comparing the History and Mythology of Tango. Tango's
Roots, its emergence in Argentine Culture, its European travels, and the Golden Years

12 Noon - 1:30 PM with Elina: Introduction to Close Embrace Tango.

2- 3:30 with Daniel: Fundamentals for Everyone- Part 1- The Follower's and Leader's Default Vocabularies. Learn effortless dancing
through understanding the complimentary responsibilities of each partner in the duet.

2- 3:30 with Elina: Intermediate Close Embrace Technique

4- 5:30 Intermediate 1. Changes in Tango's Technique for Open and Closed Embraces. And, managing these changes as Leaders and Followers.

Sat eve: . Q & A with Daniel and Elina, followed by guided practica

12 Noon - 1:30 PM With Daniel: Lecture 2 with Video and Graphic Images. The major characters of tango's modern revival. See
Tango's great stage dancers and milongueros of the 1980s and 1990s in rare footage from Daniel's archives.

12 Noon - 1:30 PM With Elina: Introduction to Milonga : Move to the Music

2- 3:30 With Daniel: Fundamentals for Everyone- Part 2- "Telepathic Lead and Follow". Getting your partner to believe that they are
doing exactly what they want to do, as they do exactly what you want them to do. We will look at both the leader's and follower's versions of this territory.

2- 3:30 with Elina: Intermediate Milonga with Traspie, taught by the Queen of the Milonga Traspie.

4- 5:30 With Daniel : Intermediate 2. Leader's architecture/ follower's decoration... we will create and analyze more complex
variations, in steps and musicality, and then explore the decorative vocabulary that makes tango's magic out of its
simplicity...

8- 11 pm Milonga
